abednego Setting up a fingerprint once GrapheneOS is running does not work either. It just closes, without a warning or error message. So, perhaps it is easier than expected to reproduce.

Same here also, at least on the Pixel Tablet.
It crashes if I want to add a new fingerprint.
The ones that already exsisted will still open my tablet though.

I strongly expect it will be released to the stable channel once there are enough downloads and positive reports from the alpha and beta channels -- unless there are some serious negative reports from the alpha and beta channels.

pw and fingerprint no issue
added fingerprint - no problem
Settings > Security & Privacy > Scan Device runs in 1 sec

It's working fine on my P6. I like the font in the app drawer and wonder if the font will carry over to the homepage in the stable release?

It seems that fingerprint-registration issues may be specific to the Tablet. I would not recommend a factory reset at this time. I think it probably makes sense to experiment a bit to see if registration works better some ways than others -- for example, does it work better if a delay is added before/between presses?

I believe the developers are monitoring this thread carefully and I suspect that those of them with Tablet devices will look into this (the development team is located around the globe, so they're not all awake at any given time).

I am probably not the sharpest tool in the shed, but I have full battery, release channel Beta, receive security preview Off, phone is connected to Wi-Fi and yet, no update seems to be available. The update hasn't been pushed to beta, yet, or am I doing anything incorrectly?

there's a bug when switching on and off dark mode toggle from lock screen (afu) while there isn't when toggling it from unlocked state.

Moisture I am not an alpha kind of guy.

Just so you know, "Alpha" on GOS is more akin to "stable release candidate". The developers believe the build is ready, so it gets pushed to the Alpha channel where the community can test it. No issues? It moves to Beta and theoretically more users test it. No issues? Moves to stable.

If no problems are detected in Alpha/Beta channels, stable ends up with the exact same build that was originally pushed to Alpha.
