Cant get to fast boot menu

Mates I’m sure this has been covered but I have three Pixel 8 pro’s that I cannot get past this menu. First time installing Grapheme. Install computer is a MacBook Air M1. Latest OS running Chrome. All Android settings as they should OEM, etc.

I don't recognize that, but it's not Fastboot Mode.

As documented in the installation instructions (source), Fastboot Mode displays a red warning triangle and the words "Fastboot Mode". That web page provides the steps necessary to enter Fastboot Mode.

If the issue is that a device is stuck on that menu, try holding the power button for a long time (maybe as much as a minute).

Where did you get these phones from? I have never seen such a menu and I didn't even know that Pixels can have any non-OS menu in Chinese. Is there a possibility these are counterfeit?

I purchased them off Amazon as refurbished devices. They come up as Pixel 8 pro’s on my Mac and Linux machines. I am truly in the dark here. Any advice would be appreciated.

DenimOnDenim just to reiterate: you are not currently based in China? If that's the case, it would by highly unusual for these phones to have menus in Chinese. I would honestly return them, if possible. If you don't mind, could you share the link to the Amazon listing? I'd like to take a look myself.

Get your money back, whatever you bought isn't a pixel and can't be used for GOS.

That is based on the USB vendor and device i.d.'s, trivial to forge.

What happens if you:

Turn the device off,
Press and hold the volume-down button,
Press and hold the power button until something happens on the screen, then release both buttons.

ah, Amazon just squished all vendors together, so the reviews don't mention the specific seller. I honestly believe the phones you got are either modified or counterfeit. Or these might be very late prototypes, but unlikely. I would just return them and get them somewhere else, except Amazon renewed.
