Corrupted device,
Currently sitting in recovery mode

After downloading signed update
adb sideload C:\Users\user\Desktop\akita-ota_update-2025110800.zip

results in:

&
Supported API: 3 Verifying update package... Update package verification took 70.4s (result 0). installing update ERROR: recovery: Update package is older than the current build, expected a build newer than timestamp 1762641805 but package has timestamp 1762641804 and downgrade not allowed.

... install aborts (1)

so I suppose if I were to ask questions my 3 would be:

is there a known way I can solve this?
would a signed zip of the 2025110801 release flash/update?
Is it unrealistic to think the update could resolve the corruption?

I believe the corruption came from a termux apt update
it worked for some while after
than would turn on briefly
now states corruption and cycles in restarting.

Multiple others with this issue have been able to sideload the same release that they are on with success.

As noted in the chatrooms where you posed your question, you need the update ZIP release number ending in 01.

Will track the resolution in the chat room if possible, otherwise please update this thread if it is resolved.

Altering the the number of the final download link to 2025110801.zip granted me the update.
adb sideloading in from recovery mode successfully reinstalled the update

Loading in I was given the device corrupted message again though successfully booted, logged in, and extracted desired data.
aiming to reinstall os for file integrity.
