Hi,

I'm new to Grapheneos and I was wondering which settings you guys would recommend to get the most privacy out of your GOS.

Besides is there a way to set a limited number of pin/ password attempts to get into the phone and if this limit is reached the phone would wipe itself?
Is there a way to enable automatic wipe of the phone if it's connected to another device via usb?
Is there a way to implement a panic/ emergency putton to wipe the phone if necessary?

I hope some of you could help me out here.

You don't have to do all that but read it to get some inspiration.

I don't think it's currently possible to wipe the device after X failed attempts to enter PIN/password, nor via detaching USB device.

There was a duress feature in development but it's not available yet and I don't know if it is still being developed. Best bet for now is power down phone quickly to prevent fingerprint unlock.

You may also quickly disable the fingerprint lock by making five consecutive failed attempts--by using the wrong finger, for example.

There are also "panic" apps you can install that will provide functionality like you describe, to wipe certain apps or files from the device when invoked.
