Loss of my SIM card on Pixel 9 Pro Fold

Hello everyone,

I’m having an issue with my Pixel 9 Pro Fold. I have a physical SIM card as well as an eSIM. When the phone is folded, everything works fine, but when I unfold it, the battery icon — where the remaining percentage is normally displayed — shows a “?”.

In addition, my physical SIM card deactivates after a few seconds. It’s as if it’s no longer detected (even after resetting the network settings).
When I fold the phone back and reset the network settings, the SIM card is detected again and asks for my PIN code. The battery percentage also reappears.

This issue has been happening for several weeks now (I waited for a GrapheneOS update to see if it would fix the problem, but nothing has changed).
I’m on the stable version 2025110801.

Mirmilion I recommend taking the device to a repair shop and describing the symptoms.

sounds like something broken in the hinge potentially disconnecting components

Okey, thanks for you're help, I’ve already contacted Google to request a warranty repair. I’ll still reinstall the stock ROM to check if the problem persists, then reinstall Graphene.
