gta3 raccoondad gelocation as diff languages have diff keyboard configs... Is that a big enough clue? If GOS package a new keyboard application and it corrects the issue, that's also known as fixing the issue. Struggling as you don't make sense.
gta3 Does it also not create security concerns using random open source keyboards? As opposed to one being selected by the GOS team.and applied as a permanent fix?
de0u gta3 Does it also not create security concerns using random open source keyboards? As opposed to one being selected by the GOS team.and applied as a permanent fix? Some thoughts: That argument may "prove too much", in the sense that it could potentially be applied to every app a user might want: wouldn't it be more secure if GrapheneOS shipped with a secure messenger so people wouldn't be forced to pick one at random? Signal! Or actually Molly? Or actually SimpleX? Wouldn't it be more secure if GrapheneOS shipped with a designated-safe multi-client synchronized note app? I think the team has been pretty clear that they do not plan to choose and ship one app of each type that people might plausibly want. Keyboards are arguably special because they are used to unlock the device. But users could decide to always use the built-in keyboard for unlocking. All of that said, I do suspect that within the next year or two either Google will replace the AOSP keyboard with something more modern, or else the GrapheneOS project will.
gta3 I agree with your post about plausible random apps. But a keyboard is an absolute requirment so doesn't fit your concept. The stock keyboard app is broke for many users.
