Crashes while switching between profiles - how make them less frequent

On 6 pro it was bearable. Migrated recently to 8 pro and in the beginning the phone was almost unusable and would literally crash many consecutive times so on occasions it was really annoying when I needed access to some apps and couldn't get to them. I read somewhere in GOS forums that the profile should always be unlocked when you are making the switch but that didn't make much of a difference. Tried many things and what seems to make a difference is to put the phone in flight mode before switching profile, in combination with profiles being unlocked. The phone still crashes but the frequency of crashes diminished significantly.

Hope someone finds this usable.

Not sure. Maybe do a reset to factory and setup again? I have a 8 pro XL and run 4 profiles I regularly switch between. It's a rather complex setup I would think if there was a general bug would have a high likelihood of triggering it. My main use profile is not the owner profile. The latter is treated like Admin on a desktop or server. Only used for admin procedures.

Given all the above I would consider my overall setup a more complex one. I would think it would make issues if they were to occur more likely. Still everything worked fine for a few yrs now.

Maybe someone else had this issue with a fix. My default when there is something weird system wide without obvious answer after research is to reset-n-reload. My thinking being somethings my is corrupt.

I just made a fresh start from scratch, not from backup, when I switched phones. The start ID (checksum?) of the operative system while booting checks out. I'm thinking not much more I can do on my part when it comes to something being corrupt.

Besides, my understanding is it's a known problem since others wrote about it, so I am trying to share my experience if it may help someone else.

This happens to me all the time. It's really starting to get under my skin. I had more than one pixel 7pro and the issue persists across devices. Sometimes I go days between having it crash, sometimes it's multiple in one day.

For me turning off accessibility settings fixed it, but that was some months ago.
I tried out the magnification button and reduced animations before that. Removing these settings resulted in no more crashes. I still use 3 button navigation though.

I think when reporting profile switch crashes, adding what accessibility settings are used might be helpful to narrow it down in the future.

Got some launcher crashes (which didn't crash the phone completely) a few weeks ago, but not last days anymore. But they seem reported by others already on GitHub. And were because of the new patches.
