Navigational app alternatives exactly like google and apple maps?

hello, does anyone have any navigational app recommendations? im looking for apps exactly like google and apple maps, where you can look up a place and itll show you the nearest location and also itll show the hours of operation, webstie, photos , etc. I know its a big ask but i am trying to get away from google but google maps just offers so much, anyone know any good private alternatives, but that are exactly like google maps that show the closest location of the directions youre looking up, the hours of operation, photos of the site, website, etc. thanks

Xoicra there are none, apart from big tech. No one else has money to maintain and administer that volume of information.

The only offering that is "exactly like Google Maps" is Google Maps. Google Maps works in a web browser if are looking to avoid installing Google Maps as an app.

CoMaps / Organic Maps, OsmAnd, and Magic Earth are alternatives seen as more privacy-respecting. They all rely on OpenStreetMap data, which you can explore at https://www.openstreetmap.org.

I'd say "here wego" offers a similar amount of information as Google and Apple Maps. But it's also proprietary and I'm not sure it's any better in terms of privacy.

What I do is use GMaps WV for finding places for which I don't have an address, and then I share that place through Geo Share to my preferred navigation app OsmAnd.

ah, I forgot to mention, you can also install maps.apple.com a from the browser. It's meant to be less privacy invasive than Google Maps, but the Apple Maps web always shows me distances in miles and there's no public transport information, so I don't use it
