I've been very frustrated switching SIM with my provider.
Went through a bunch of troubleshooting yesterday to get it to connect to the mobile network. It ended up connecting and giving me mobile data after I went to System -> Reset Options -> Reset Mobile Network settings.
Then I tried logging into an app that sent me an SMS message for verification, and I didn't receive it.
Upon testing further, this is what I found:
- I can send myself SMS messages, but I won't receive them.
- Others cannot send me SMS messages (it shows a sending error)
- However, when I send them an SMS message they will receive it, at which point they can send an SMS back without getting an error, but I still don't receive it.
- Services that try to send me an SMS won't be able to send it (they'll show an error).
I've reset mobile network settings, checked the the APN (its correct). Everything else works like sending/receiving calls, sending SMS, mobile data (4G/5G). My number shows up correctly in the SIM settings. I've restarted my phone and disabled/re-enabled my SIM.
Any other ideas I could try? Or do I have to contact my phone provider. I'm afraid they'll just tell me to not use GrapheneOS and blame it on that.
