Difference between normal/private, re: failing integrity/emulation detection

I've noticed something I've seen repeated on here. If I install Cash App on GrapheneOS (Pixel 9) you can't sign in. You get the error "can't verify you own this account." If you try to create a new one you get an error referencing emulators and such. So it obviously isn't liking something, possibly Play Integrity, whatever. I tried all combinations I could think of including:

Exploit protection
Allowing permissions for Play Services/Store
Using email only
Old builds
Wiping and trying again
etc

And basically anything else I could find that MIGHT help

As soon as I created a Private Space - with Play Services and Store, permissions the same, exploit protection off - and it worked! First try! Thinking maybe I stumbled upon something I tried to replicate the settings on my normal profile. No dice.

So my question is this: what is different between them? Is it possible to match those settings and make it work on the normal profile?
I'm also interested just from a technical aspect, how is it detected differently from the main profile? Even if it isn't able to be replicated on the normal profile. Thanks!

Private profile is the same as any other profile you can create, including owner. The only thing they lack are permissions to change some system settings. So you either missed some config steps, or it blacklisted your profile by Android ID

Interesting. Does the profile ID reset when the phone is wiped? I went back to stock, Lineage, back to Graphene and it never worked either time. I'm positive the settings are the same though. I'm also signed into the same Google account on both profiles. Interesting though. I'd like to understand why.
