USB tethering no longer works since last update (Build 2025102801)

Hi,

I usually share my connection on my PC (Windows 10) with a USB cable and since the last update it doesn't work anymore :

My Pixel 7 detects the connection with the PC and display the option to share the connection
I can select the option "USB tethering"
My computer recognize my Pixel 7, I have tried and I can share files with the USB cable
While the USB tethering is active on my smartphone, nothing happens on my PC, there is no remote NDIS card showing on my PC network center
I have tried to disable/re-enable the tethering options on my smartphone and the option in developer mode

I'll take any advice to solve this, I will probably try to downgrade to an older build at some point

I have the exact same problem. Pixel 6a, same build

Working on Pixel 8 Pro (2025102801) connected to a Mac - I'd thought pixel 6+ switched to using NCM for USB Tethering. Pixel 8 is definitely not using RNDIS. Maybe a red herring.

I have USB tethering configured as the default USB mode, I haven't tried toggling it normally.

For some reason, USB tethering fails on Windows 10, but it works perfectly on Linux in my case

If that solves the problem, my hunch would be that perhaps the driver on the Pixel side switched device i.d.'s ... or maybe a recent update on the Windows side changed things in a way requiring reconfiguration. If Mac and Linux users are not needing to do anything then the second hypothesis seems more likely.
