Nobody else missing Caffeine to prevent the screen from switching off?

There is an old open issue but it has not been addressed since then and the only hint was to install an app providing this functionality, which pretty much only leaves mueller-ma/Coffee.

The Caffeine Quick-Tile is something that I have been using pretty much every single day, because certain apps that I want to be visible for a prolonged time do not have the ability to wake-lock on their own.

So the mueller-ma/Coffee app it is then?

Also had the problem activating coffee via coffee-tile,
after lauching the app and activating it once here, the tile works again.

I've been using a fork of tr.edu.iyte.caffeine for years, It still works today on my Pixel 8 Pro (2025102800)

You'll need to build it yourself though.

It's very basic, tapping the tile cycles between 1,5,10,30,60, Infinite, and back to off. I've given it unrestricted battery usage and notification access - but I'm not certain it actually needs either.
