VPN leak, changes in killswitch?

I noticed that when using ProtonVPN with allow LAN connections and the android kill switch "Block connections without VPN" active that Syncthing is still able to directly connect to devices in the local network. I am pretty sure this was not the case in the past.

Did something change ?

I am experiencing the same behavior.

ProtonVPN to allow LAN & GOS "Block connections without VPN" active
= Connection to LAN possible with syncthing

I believe I recall this not being the case before the recent ProtonVPN update...!?
I recall being annoyed having to deactivate "Block connections without VPN" for syncthing to connect.

Going into the VPN settings just now.. I realise that the "Block connections without VPN" toggle is IN the ProtonVPN VPN Profile...
Does this mean ProtonVPN to decides how the toggle works...?!

uhm, yes? It can't work any other way. The Android toggle "block connections without VPN" only respects what the VPN profile/app sets as a policy. If routing to LAN isn't excluded, it will route to LAN. This has to he a ProtonVPN issue.
