Advice on introducing another to GOS

Hey guys, just wanted to see if anyone had experience onboarding a friend to GOS. I'm wondering what pixel device to get and install it on as like a "trial run" to see if they like it, and having them upgrade to a new model if it works. Kinda like a demo phone I can let my close friends use for a bit and wouldn't be a huge deal if something broke or got lost.

Should I wait to see if the OEM thing is happening, or get an unlocked pixel? If so, which pixel is a decent device at a low price if bought used?

Kinda depends what a "low price" means to you. I bought a 2nd hand pixel 6a a couple of years back "just to test" GOS for #120 and it was so good I use it as my daily.

They could be a bit cheaper now and in my opinion would make a good "demo" device, though any Pixel device would give you a good general experience.

Just be mindful the last support dates for this model (or the model you buy)
