debiX+ is one of these apps that sends you a push notification when you try to buy something online with your Visa or Mastercard.
The registration process is that you log in with username and password. Then you get a SMS with a https link that you are supposed to click. This will open the browser. But the browser should immediately redirect to the app and log you in. There is no code that you would have to enter manually.
This works fine in a secondary profile where I have Play Servies and debiX+ installed. PlayServices even do not need network permission. It is just required they are present.
Using secondary profiles is cumbersome. That's why I installed debiX+ in the private space with play services installed as well. However after entering the login credentials I receive the SMS in the parent (owner) profile. When I click the link there a browser opens with an error message saying something went wrong. I am not surprised by that because the browser in the main profile should not see the app in the private space.
So I tried to copy the link to the browser in the private space and open it there. But I get the same error message. I am not surprised either because the browser should not be able to talk to apps even within the same profile.
Unfortunately the default SMS app is not available in the private space. I installed Fossify Messages in the private space but this immediately crashes during startup. The idea would be to check whether it makes a difference if you click the link inside a sms app instead of copying it manually to the browser.
Is there some setting in order to allow Vanadium to temporarily communicate with this app? Has anybody else made this app work in private space?
