Hey,
I'm currently looking at modifying the way I manage profiles and app installations via the Google Play Store on my Pixel device, with the goal of maximizing privacy.
In my current setup, the owner profile handles app installation through Graphene Store, Accrescent, Google Play Store.
Once apps are installed, I disable the Play Store on the owner account and push it to a dedicated user profile, which i use solely for updating apps. This allows me to kill this user profile whenever I want.
All apps are then distributed into the various profile that I use. For this purpose I created an “anonymous” Google account, which I’ve been using ever since.
I was thinking to further increase the compartmentalization by using multiple "Anonymous" Google accounts.
The owner profile would still handle initial app installation, but only some apps would be installed with Google account 1 and some others by using Google account 2.
Before switching from account 1 to account 2 I would: Disconnect account 1 -> Disable Google Play Store -> Change VPN location -> Connect account 2.
For updates, I’d continue using my current method, but add a private space within the Play Store profile to connect Google Account 2.
But I'm unsure if this brings additional privacy or if it's just a meaningless thought.
I would really like to have your insights about this and I'm open to suggestion if you have better way to increase the privacy compare to my current setup.
Thank you for your help !
