Desperate to permanently block certain websites

I know this is very off topic, but I've been using GOS for a while and have been trying to block adult sites.

What I've done has worked, but the only problem is I can go in and turn them off at any moment to get access again. Like any addiction, where there's a will there's a way, and I'm hoping there's some kind of way to "lock the door and throw away the key."

Maybe this isn't the right place to ask this, but I know there's some very tech savvy individuals here and I daily drive grapheneOS.

Any help is appreciated, I'm at my wits end.

DixonTiconderoga2 if you know how to set it up, you'll know how to disable it. If it's a debilitating addiction and you really need to do a dopamine purge (takes about a month), I would switch to a dumb phone temporarily.

I appreciate the feedback guys, its gonna take some internal work as well. I think my ideal solution would be to LOCK the option to turn off private DNS and give the password to a friend for a while. Probably just wishful thinking because DNS blocking has been the most effective method I've tried, I just hate how easy I can switch it off (for my current situation atleast).

One solution that works for locking stuff like certain apps, DNS changes and so on is andoff: https://docs.andoff.one/

Technology is not value-neutral and and it is designed to be addictive because that's where the profits are. This is why digital balance tools are important and their lack is the biggest disadvantage of GrapheneOS, IMHO, much more problematic than lack of Google Wallet payments.

No it's not, as it's not part of definition for "secure".
For those in need, have a choice of tools, not talking about the fact that relying on the tools in the first place is efficient. If tools helps, you don't have a real problem thus you should just apply some discipline)
