xYz Thanks for recounting exactly what happened on your end (without a disparaging remark) regarding how Google Play tried to get you to install various Google brand apps by defaulting to install them with checkmarks you had to manually uncheck one by one.

I honestly think you're overplaying this. Even if you tapped the several buttons to install Gemini (not sure it was there in the list?), including confirming the install dialog shown by the system, the Gemini app would just be installed as a regular sandboxed app, confined by Android's app sandboxing. It can't have any more access on GrapheneOS than any other app so I don't really share the worry you are expressing.
