80% of the time when I plug my phone into my laptop to use USB tethering it just shows me the notification for the USB options and I then enable USB tethering.
I need this because the wifi of my laptop is very unstable and sometimes doesn't work for no reason.
But about 20% of the time, the notification just doesn't show up, even when I unplug my phone and plug it in again.
After waiting sometime it works again.
This is all independent of the cable used, if it works, it works with both cables I use for this, and if it doesn't work, it works with none of the cables.
The laptop port is also not the problem, because when it doesn't work, it works with no port, but when it works, it works with every port.
The laptop is running Linux Fedora Workstation
