Using multiple browsers for privacy and security

Has anyone tried using multiple browsers in their GOS set up? Perhaos as a means to creating isolation without being forced to use multiple user profiles?

Maybe you have an email and alias identity that you use for logging in to left-wing news sites and forums, and another email identity and alias for right-wing media and forums.

Using two different browsers would stop those identities being associated with eachother.

Has anyone tried to create separate established use-cases like this? If so, what for?

Hi... I use just one profile now (after trying two). I also have VPN always connected. I then use both Brave browser (with ad blocker) and Vanadium for other tasks. I have also set my VPN to Split so one browser via VPN and one open for when I want my IP to be seen for Website SEO reasons ;)

Multiple browsers don't really replace the need for multiple profiles but it's a nice way to separate browsing in a way

evalda Assuming these browsers are for single use cases and don't need to be communicating with your device storage I don't see how they couldn't replace the need for separate user profiles. I guess I'm coming strictly from a 'training the algorithm' perspective here. It wouldn't associate your two browsers would it? They're independently sandboxed and house distinct identities.
