Apps cannot produce vibration

Hi All,

I noticed that apps cannot use vibration (Vibration and Haptics option is enabled and set to Max).

For testing purposes, I tred a few reminder apps and none could produce vibrations even though vibration was turned on in the apps.

The same apps worked properly on Samsung phone, producing strong vibrations.

Is this a known issue? Can you reproduce? Thanks.

My vibration is working within apps as well. I'm unaware of any setting that can be changed to affect this functionality.

Thanks, a strange one but its probably its the apps as the vibration itself is working fine.

Vibration only works for me if its enabled in settings, but that includes also haptic feedback for navigating the launcher and keyboard. How can this be turned off?

freezet vibration from the keyboard is usually controlled by the keyboard app used and needs to be turned off there. Disabling vibration for just the launcher is not possible though afaik.

Ok this is just weird how some apps can directly use the vibration and others rely on the launcher settings. It seems none of the apps work properly in which you can set the timing or lets say the amount of feedback in the app itself.

freezet there are apps that utilize vibrations as part of the default feedback on user interactions, such as the launcher, and are controlled by the global toggle. Some apps give your granular controls over vibrations, such as the aforementioned keyboards, where you can fine tune vibration settings.
