I use the password screen lock that activates after a 10-minute timeout. I would also like to use the "tap to check phone" gesture. However, I do not want everything on screen to be immediately accessible after tapping because I am worried about accidental screen taps causing problems such as unintentional phone dialing and note deletion.
Therefore, while unlocked and within the 10-minute timeout, I would prefer screen tapping to lead to a swipe screen lock. A tap-then-swipe sequence during the 10-minute timeout might prevent accidental screen taps from causing problems. While outside of the timeout or when the phone is otherwise locked, I would prefer screen tapping to lead to the password screen lock.
Can a similar lock screen arrangement be accomplished with GrapheneOS without using fingerprint unlock? Thank you for any advice or directions to further reading.
