How bad is it to install social media in main profile?

My main profile right now consists of only open source apps, no Google Play.

I use the work profile for any "anonymous" apps (un-signed in Google Maps for example) and the private space for accounts that have identifiable information linked (Uber).

I cannot have my life socials (WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook) in a separate profile, as it would be too detrimental.
How bad would it be to install these in the main profile (without Google Play)? Can they see what my other apps are/what they are doing.

DefinitelyNotOCD Insagram works fine but notification wont work in background. While app is running is background will get notifications, maybe allowing unrestricted battery usage will solve the issue but will cause huge battery drain but not tested.

WhatsApp works completely normal, for notifications need to allow unrestricted battery usage. Causes faster battery drain.

Facebook Official app not tested. Been using Nobook. Works great, notifications not tested. I use facebook only for market place.

Yes. Any app installed in a profile can see all other installed apps in the same profile.

Only if that other app is happily sharing that information. Apps can only talk to each other if both apps are fine with it, ie the app developers for both apps are fine with it. I wouldn't expect most open source apps to be very willing to share much information, but Meta apps definitely talk among each other and anyone else willing to. Unfortunately you don't have any ability to control that yourself as a user, other than by installing the apps in separate user profiles.

FYI, my main profile is my real life me profile where I have all real life communication apps and social media apps. I have my anonymous and sensitive communications in separate profiles.
