IMHO the "safest" app on my phone in terms of "security" is Vanadium; it is maintained by GOS experts using proper techniques and designed to work with the OS. It and GOS use multiple hardening techniques So I use it on media whenever possible.
As a rule I'd rather keep new media at arms length, than download it to my box.
You mentioned "leaked" - if you're asking about "anonymity", then take a look at at the active conversation "Vanadium - privacy questions"
(p.s. take a look at invidious in Aurora - loaded with "spyware" and certainly not as strong as Vanadium)
