GOS switched profiles during update, is it normal?

Hey, just started to use GOS. My phone was lying on a table and I noticed screen lited up for a moment. When I checked phone it was in owner profile instead 2nd profile that I was logged in initially, also some update notifications popped up. Is this normal behavior to switch profiles automatically for GOS?

Did it unlock the owner profile or did you need to enter unlock? Depending on setting Updates can cause a reboot which puts you at owner profile. Now if you had it already unlocked and all that was needed was the scrn lock bio + pin and same for the secondary profile that would be eye opening. Still unless security login was compromised where locks were bypassed...

Nobody it was locked, needed to enter owner password. I'm not sure if phone was rebooted, maybe it was

In your owner profile system settings under update see if reboot automatically after update slder is ticked on. The fact you had to enter full pwd and were at the owner profile at rest points to a reboot which if you know it updated sounds like that's your answer. You can turn off the reboot function and simply reboot when you see the notification when its convenient for you. The other reboot function is in security and defaulted to every 18hr without sucessful unlock activity.

Nobody Thanks for explanation, indeed I have autoreboot every 18hrs. Didn't know such option exists. Thanks

Its a security protection if someone or authorities grab a phone powered on but locked they only will have a Max of 18 hrs likely less and the phone will power cycle and be locked with data at reat. Makes it that much harder to breech even though no current ones to my knowledge have ever been cracked even at scn lock with a proper pwd setup.
