Is Garmin Connect Working for You?

Been using Garmin Connect on GOS since day 1. All of a sudden, its not working. I installed via Aurora, I can login, but then the loading icon of the running man just persists and it never gets past it.

Anyone else having this experience?

grapheine Yes I have the same issue. A not so nice workaround I've found on the web is to navigate into your file in order to open a gpx file with Garmin Connect. Than you will be able to navigate to the homepage of Garmin Connect.

I had a PITA getting Garmin Drive working. They've done something with how the Bluetooth works that the app has to be installed, paired, etc. perfectly or it breaks. I spent a while trying all the normal stuff, then per their tech followed their guide to the T including forgetting all pairings and reinstalling apps, and it worked. Been fairly stable since. I don't know what they did, but it shouldn't be that complicated.

grapheine try changing settings under exploit protection in app info for that app. Perhaps the app isn't compatible with the GrapheneOS exploit protection.

Not much detail to go off though. Just freezes, or quits? Any errors?

patienttruth99 Just spins basically. Last night I tried again, I entered my username and password, and then entered the 2fa code. It went to the next screen of the running man icon to indicate its loading, and it never moved passed. I timed it for at least 7 minutes before I gave up. I've tried both with and without the exploit protection compatibility turned on.

No problem for me. Opens and syncs just fine.

I'm running version 5.17.2, installed from the Google Play Store. GOS 2025092700. No issues.

Also have it running without problems with a p8 all up to date.

It has all hardening features activated except DCL via storage which is allowed; optimized battery usage and most permissions it asked except camera, microphone and location (ask every time).

I got it to work, through an interesting way. I tried again and the same result. So, I installed Garmin Golf and was able to successfully login. From there, to link my device, it asked to open Garmin Connect, so I did. I had the profile already showing so I clicked on it. It started to do the same thing, so I jumped back to the Golf app and it showed my watch connected.

After, I went back to the Connect app and low and behold it worked.
