Molly proper battery usage optimization

Hey guys, just wondering if anyone has recommendations for settings to use that allow Molly to still get notifications but not eat up battery.

Or if that's the only way to get notifications, then that's fine.

Any other tips to optimize apps would be appreciated as well, thanks.

ctOS Use either FCM via sandboxed Google Play or UnifiedPush via an efficient provider. There's at least one service providing MollySocket UnifiedPush support without needing to self-host.

DeletedUser480 This link was SO helpful, and I finally got mollysocket to work because of it! Did you have any issues with the recommended steps for updates afterward? It seems like the fly.io app didn't populate any repository secrets for me to edit in the repo I made.

There's a non-self-hosted MollySocket server option at https://adminforge.de/services/mollysocket/ but we can't speak to how trustworthy it is. We've seen their other servers including their Matrix server (nope.chat) around, that's all.
