Is it standard behavior that Wi-Fi Calling works only when VoLTE is enabled?
I have a dual SIM setup (eSIM + standard SIM card).
When only Wi-Fi Calling is enabled, the phone uses a standard GSM connection through the BTS.
When I turn on VoLTE, the connection immediately switches to a Wi-Fi call.
What’s strange is that when I turn off VoLTE (after WiFi call activation), Wi-Fi Calling remains active until I reboot the phone, switch to airplane mode, restart the SIM, etc. Is looks that a WiFi call is somehow connected with VoLTE.
