What's the point of fingerprinting different google accounts? I recently made a new google account using the same phone number from the last time, and guess what - play store recommended me the exactly same apps that I used in my last account(deleted). What's the point of doing all this shit? The fact that they claim that they don't sell personal information is creepier than doing so; the way that they explain un-targeted ads are based on general location is hypocrisy. I do not think this massive infringement of privacy is just for 'targeted ads'. The way they harvest and correlate data is already beyond the possible business models.

Google, Meta, Microsoft, and all the Telecoms are government agencies. Once you look at it from that point of view, you can understand that it's not a business model at play.

n3t_admin i think he meant that, they help US govt spy the people. People who worked in 3 letter US agencies now hold positions in these companies.

Earthyyy And that is exactly what I meant. And they sell info to government agencies. Think law enforcement and geofence warrants. Most of the tech we have today came from, in large part, government agencies. Tor (Navy), Maps (Air Force, NASA) and so forth. We won't even go into what it means when members of Congress have dinner with the CEOs of these companies. So for the OP here, what's the point of fingerprinting multiple Google accounts? Obfuscation and compartmentalization should be part of a larger strategy of hiding in the shadows from some of this nonsense. I look at the aforementioned companies as police knocking at the door of my internet connection without a warrant. The role of these companies is to provide you with wonderful easy convenient services while providing a back door to anyone who sees value in your data to come and get it.
Put locks on you internet doors and behave accordingly. It's daunting but well worth it. Good luck all!
