Mint Mobile E-Sim on GrapheneOS

Hi there,

After some unsuccessful troubleshooting to get RCS messaging in Google messages to work, I'm thinking I'm going to switch carriers from Verizon to Mint Mobile. (Happy to elaborate on the troubleshooting I've done if anyone has questions.) My only concern is whether Mint's e-sim option will work okay or if I need to order a physical SIM card from them. Does anyone have any input on whether e-sim would be relatively straightforward? If it's a headache, I'll probably just order a physical SIM card.

Also curious if anyone has opinions on privacy dis/advantages to e-sim. My instinct is that I could pretty much sandbox it more appropriately on grapheneos than anything else, but I'm new to this and I might be totally wrong.

Thank you wizoatk, that's exactly what I was looking for! Looks straightforward, I'll definitely be opting for e-sim.

Just installed graphene on a pixel 9a and don't see the option to enable esim support under
Settings > Network & internet > eSIM support

Many settings are available only in the owner profile -- not in secondary user profiles, work profiles, Private Space, etc. Is the eSIM toggle present in the owner profile?
