No, this is not the right way imho.
The project members try to keep a low profile. Considering the swatting attacks against the former lead dev Daniel Micay, I don't think it's a good idea to attract even more attention to the project as is.
GrapheneOS is not a project that needs marketing or social media promotions. And I don't think Joe Rogan is the right platform for such a topic either, since his talks are pretty trivial and don't go into detail, which would be a hard requirement as I see it. Not even mentioning the political debates this might stir.
And considering the recent struggles with Google's dumbness, the time is not right to focus on this and instead invest valuable time to deliver important OS updates.
