Downgrade GOS

Hi everyone. About downgrade I found few topics already but none of them are solved by actually help with downgrading it.
I experiencing bug that negatively affecting my life. Bug is marked by GOS team as bug so nothing I can do more (there is no possibility for my donations to be addressed to specific issue). Priority for GOS team is very small to resolve it because it's not about security or privacy (very simplified their statement).
Please don't advise other possibilities except downgrade.
Can I actually do it? I think no, but maybe I can by freshly install older version. Can I? How to download older releases? A16 is OK, but I want to try older releases like 2-6 months older where I find one that works because bug is stronger over time. That's why I didn't noticed exact date when bug appeared too often.
I can be on older version while waiting for bug to be resolved. I value privacy over security in my case. Thank you.

10cean Yes, GrapheneOS includes rollback protection, which prevents you from loading older firmware versions. However, you can manually install an older firmware version via a clean install, following these instructions (command-line installation guide).
However, keep in mind that a clean install will completely erase all data from your device. Be sure to back up all important data.
Immediately after booting your device for the first time after installation (even before connecting to the internet), you will need to disable automatic system updates. Otherwise, the first time you connect to the internet, GrapheneOS will attempt to update to the latest version, and you will be back to the original problem.
I also want to warn you that this will reduce your security. GrapheneOS regularly releases security updates, including fixes for critical vulnerabilities. Using an older version will expose you to known, publicly disclosed, and unpatched vulnerabilities. This makes your device much more vulnerable. It's also important to understand that weakening security directly undermines privacy, as vulnerabilities can be exploited to gain access to your personal data and bypass your privacy measures.

Would you be able to run me through where I need to put the files (on the pc) for the old version, so I can try doing this (again to troubleshoot something that doesn't seem to be getting fixed).

I understand how to get the CLI install going, but what steps do I need to modify (and how) so it will install an older version from file, rather than downloading the current version?

The plan is to install an older version that I know did not have the problem, test it, and if it works, then update it and see what happens.

My problem appears to only affect a new legacy bluetooth connection, preventing it form connecting. But it was happily connected for months previously.

Does not fix the problem. The problem is apparently with AOSP. They say it's a Graphene issue. Graphene say it's an upstream issue. Probably won't get fixed for months, so I'd like to at least try SOMETHING that has a chance of actually working.
