esim removal issue

eSIM worked great on our recent visit to Canada, but can I remove it, afraid not?

Running Pixal 6a which is fully updated.

Cannot switch off in Settings and Erase eSIM also fails and comes back with 'can't erase eSIM' and suggests restarting." Tried this did not help.
Any ideas appreciated.

chris02 There's a known issue with eSIM support on the Pixel 6a which is being worked on.

Please test this new Pixel 6a release with additional Android 16 QPR1 backports:

Sideloading it will check the update signature and prevent downgrades as usual. You will be automatically upgraded to the next regular OS release after 2025091900 as usual.
