[Feature Request] Gallery

Hi folks,

I know this is more related to AOSP base apps.
But as I have seen earlier in the year a GrapheneOS touch of magic inside basic AOSP apps, I would like to ask something.

Is it possible to add a toggle to Sort files by Name

Because I have made a transfer between two phones and the AOSP gallery is so fucked up that it sorted everything by write on disk date ..
So everything is mixed it is annoying..

Perhaps you could try zipping the files on originating device and then unpack your files with file manager like Total Commander which seems to preserve original file info.

I ve tried. In the zip it is OK, when I extract no matter the app I use, it mess up everything 😒

NetRunner88 try extracting using XPlore. From my brief internet search and trial this one works (fingers crossed)
