Huge battery degradation on Pixel 9

Hello,
Since 2-3 weeks I noticed that the battery does not hold anymore as it used to be on Pixel 9.
Just today, I wanted to track and it went from 100% to 36% in 17 hours with ONLY 2h10 screen time!

The battery has a count of 184 cycles. I checked the usage, nothing from the Apps seems to be an issue. But I noticed that Mobile Network uses up to 87%. Is this normal?
The phone is connected the whole day to the home wifi and I didn´t make or receive any calls. So I find it hard to understand why 87%.

Would there be a buggy driver update lately? Or anything else I can check?
The phone is almost unusable the day I decide to go outside or to use it for more than 3 hours...

That indicates that the modem is drawing unusually high amounts of power. Try turning 5G off (switch to 4G/LTE mode), disable VoWiFi (WiFi-Calling) and toggle VoLTE off and check if there are any improvements.

n3t_admin Thanks! I disabled them and I will check for improvements.

Just as an information, the location / usage / coverage did not change at all. I am mainly connected to the home WiFi and not a lot of phone calls. So I am still not sure why the modem decided to start consuming so much energy.

Edit: I just saw this topic https://discuss.grapheneos.org/d/26527-wifi-and-battery-problems-pixel-6a and now I am wondering if I have the same issue but simply did not notice the interruptions because I don´t use the phone that much.

PixelNest Update: I tried the solution that n3t_admin gave, it worked to save my battery, but I wasn't getting any calls or texts.

I don't believe it is a GrapheneOS problem exclusively as It is a problem with all my Android and IOS devices. Something is happening with cell tower service switching on despite being turned off in settings and this has been happening for months. I noticed it after trying out Tello and a few other cheap providers after having an issue with Verizon. Battery drain is definitely being affected by wireless connections, BT, Wifi, 5G and everything else. Short of blocking all permissions in every app I have no answer on how to minimize the issue.

Most likely you are on LTE-only mode with VoLTE disabled. See here - https://grapheneos.org/usage#lte-only-mode. This is expected.
The n3t_admin approach to turn off the VoLTE was during the troubleshooting part, not intended to stick with it.

PixelNest Turning on WiFi calling will let you get calls and texts while on airplane mode.
