Roadmap for GrapheneOS after Google's recent announcements

What does the future look like for the project in light of Google's recently announced plans for Android. Will GrapheneOS be able to continue functioning as is, or is it too early to tell? I really really really don't want to be forced off GrapheneOS - I've been using it for years and I love it. I wouldn't use Android any other way.
I realize this is a blunt question/post, but I figured this was the best place to ask. If there's another post about this already, please feel free to point me in that direction. Thanks I advanced, and many thanks to the team that makes this project work so well!

de0u thanks again for that info. Sounds like the project has a good roadmap and plan(s) in place. If GrapheneOS put out their own device, I'd definitely purchase one.
So if I read these posts correctly, if GrapheneOS didn't have any plans in place, what Google's doing to AOSP would prevent the project from moving forward, right? I mean outside of supporting existing devices. Please correct me if I'm wrong, just wanna make sure I understand things.

sbarnard86 Please correct me if I'm wrong, just wanna make sure I understand things.

The project said "We lack confidence", which is not the same thing as "It will be ok" and it's also not the same thing as "would prevent". Some things that would be desirable to understand in the present are not known in the present.

Has anyone found any good analysis of what Google's game is with the AOSP delays and changes ? I'd be especially curious to understand if and how there's interplay with the EU antitrust rulings.
