Brightness lowers itself from 100% to 88% with normal usage. 88% is too dark for my eyes personally, if i Put it at 100% it should stay at 100% right...?
Adaptive brightness set to OFF
All standard settings - no developer options.
Does not show up during SCREEN RECORD.
The brightness bar stays at 100%, but screen gets dimmed to 88%. Toggle Airplane mode or restarting the phone will fix it - the brightness bar will then show 88% which is the correct value (always 88%) and I can readjust it back to 100%.
Happens multiple times every day. Happens on all my pixel devices 7, 8 & 9 with grapheneos. does not happen on stock os.
Been going on since early 2024, always using latest OS updates.
anyone got any tips? its a hassle to restart the phone or toggle airplane mode multiple times per day, only for it to come back.
