Pixel Launcher on GOS

Is it possible to get Pixel Launcher working on GrapheneOS?

I exported the package from my stock Pixel and installed it on GOS but it doesn't want to work, when attempting to go home the screen just goes blank and freezes for a bit

I've tried comparability mode without success

Is it possible for GOS to support this app like the Markup and Thermometer apps?

Hi there! As of my understanding, devs said it's impossible to use pixel launcher on GOS as it's deeply integrated into the system and is a part of proprietary stock os.

Colt9646 what exactly is behind your reason wanting to use Pixel launcher? There are alternatives that let you theme your launcher by using different icons or customizing your app drawer and the like.

DeletedUser495 app suggestions and swipe up to search are two features I use the most

Though I'd be lying if I said the aesthetics weren't a factor. I've tried third party launchers but they don't quite hit the bar when it comes to matching the aesthetics of the stock Pixel, especially now that Google has switched over to M3E for most first party apps

The primary reasons I use GOS are network blocking, call recording, duress PIN, that all with Widevine L1 support

Privacy from Google isn't much of a concern for me personally

Colt9646 Lawnchair (the current version) is quite similar to Pixel launcher. Doesn't have all the functionality, but some of it is there. I'd check that out first.
