Force Apps to Re-register to Push Notification Server?

Hi all,
While I was trying to fix an Android Auto issue with my phone, I uninstalled / re-installed Google Play Services and Play Store, resulting in breaking push notification on the device.

I tried force stop/clear cache and also waiting until apps were updated to a newer version but unfortunately it seems that none of them re-registered to Push Notification servers...
Is there a way to force that and have notifications work again? Or I have to create a new profile and re-install everything? Now notifications work only if I manually open those apps, and when I do I get all the missed calls messages etc...

Did you set the correct battery option? Unrestricted etc for Play

Yes, Play Services have unrestricted access, play store no.
But never did...

AFAIK, apps register for push notification at runtime. Just launch them again once, and notifications should be working

For re-registering push notifications you also need to clear data of corresponding apps and set them up again.

This is what I'm trying to avoid, there is no other way rather than clear Data?
ex: Viber can be backed up only via google cloud which I really don't want to use and also I don't want to loose some messages there...

I'm afraid there's no way around clearing data. Push registration is requested only one time after first start of a new installed app. I totally understand the hassle with lost data though.

In my experience, when apps are reinstalled (e.g., on update) then push notifications start working again. You don't need to clear data.

So depending on the app (if it has updates often), the best course of action is to put up for a bit and do nothing and the issue will self-correct.

Well on some apps I'm already on the second update and still no push notifications...
I think clearing data is inevitable like Thanos...
