Can I unlock the bootloader of a phone purchased through US Mobile

I'm using US Mobile as my carrier and they have some decent deals on pixels.

I know that the phones are temporarily carrier locked (it's fine, I can make a two phone model work). However I can't find any information if the bootloader can be eventually unlocked for Graphene OS.

Does anyone know if the bootloaders on these carrier phones can be unlocked?

Did you figure out an answer to this? I just purchased a Pixel from US mobile but also couldn't find anything about it.

There are no reports of US Mobile have any form of bootloader locking independent of carrier locking.
Some US Mobile contracts have carrier locking with different terms.

Some phones sold by US Mobile are temporarily locked from switching to other carriers. We do this to keep prices low and to ensure our best offers are going to our real customers. We will always specify if a particular phone is locked in the device sales' terms and conditions.

Compared to most carrier locks, ours is short — devices generally unlock after just 60 days of continuous usage on a US Mobile line, unless a longer period is specified in the offer terms.

How do I unlock my phone?
After the required period of continuous usage on a US Mobile line, if your account is in good standing, the phone will unlock automatically. We’ll take care of it — no action needed from you.

If the locked device is not activated on a US Mobile line, it will still unlock automatically 12 months after its first connected to the internet

i believe only really verizon bootloaders cant be unlocked, i dont believe US mobile do it but i cant confirm

wizoatk Thank you. I received the Pixel 9 (on the Dark Star Network) and the OEM unlocking is NOT greyed out.

Do you know if I'm able to install GrapheneOS now (even though it is carrier locked for two months)? Or do I just need to wait?

I deleted my post. It was about T-mobile, and not US Mobile. But as long as the phone is "unlock"able, i.e. it's not a Verizon or AT&T specific model, there's a high chance for that as long as the phone is fully paid off.

Odds are that you don't have to wait. But you should believe what your phone tells you over what I say.

I've not seen a phone that was carrier locked and yet you could still enable OEM unlocking. Still, I'd say try to enable it. It should prompt for a PIN or password. If successful it will show enabled. At that point you either can proceed to install GrapheneOS or you can back out by disabling OEM unlocking and reboot the phone to reenable protections and you're back where you started.

It worked flawlessly. Thank you. I wonder if it was actually even carrier locked considering US Mobile lets you switch between networks (AT&T, Verison, and T-Mobile). That might make it difficult for them to carrier lock it. Or maybe I just got lucky. Either way I am happy and for the record it is at least possible.
