Can I delay in time flashing Graphene OS?

Hello. I'm going to buy a new Google Pixel 10 and need to know if there's planned support for them in future. If so, can I use stock Android and flash Graphene OS later, when support for Pixel 10 will be ready. Provided that I'll do a full backup of data before flashing device. Thank you

whiteman808 Guess what, you're not the only one asking this.

But to make things easy: Yes. Pixel 10 series should be supported in the future, but we don't know when. I have mine lying on the table, ready to be flashed, but I'm using my Pixel 8 Pro until then.

whiteman808 the Stock OS' backup method is incompatible to restore on GrapheneOS. So you pretty much have to do everything manually.

You can use the SMS IMPORT/EXPORT app on github to export backups of your SMS, MMS, Call Logs; copy those files to USB, and then import them through the same app installed on GrapheneOS.

You can flash at any time, just beware that all data will be wiped.

It depends on your needs and app usage but generally performance is improved significantly.
