Curve Pay no longer works after update

Curve Pay no longer works after today's system update.
Unfortunately, I only noticed this when I tried to pay.

The app won't even start up anymore.

There is no response at all.

How do I downgrade? I don't have my plastic card with me right now and still need to go shopping.

I just installed Curve on a Pixel 9 2025090300. Logged into an existing account. No obvious issues.

Doubtful that a downgrade would solve your issue or be a good idea in any case.

What phone do you have and which country are you in?

Sorry, I was away for the weekend.

I have a new Google Pixel 9 Pro.

I reset the app settings and logged in with my account.
It works again, but not the payment function. NFC is active, but when I want to pay, nothing happens at the checkout terminal. The problem is how to test this calmly. It's not a good time to do it when you're standing in line at the checkout. The other customers are not very understanding.

bastik77 Have you configured Curve Pay correctly via the app settings (Launchpad) and selected Curve Pay in Settings > Connected devices > Connection preferences > NFC > Contactless payments ? I'm asking because the same thing happened to me at checkout, I had reinstalled Curve Pay, but I had forgotten to do that so it wasn't working. Now it's working again.

Yes.

In the meantime, there have been two more updates for the cell phone and one for Curve.
It started again after the first GraphenOS update.

Now, of course, the question is:
Was it a coincidence?

Lesson learned: I don't update/reboot my phone when I don't have my Garmin watch or my credit cards with me.

i had to toggle "Exploit protection compatibility mode" for the app to work properly.

I haven't been able to get it to work at all on my Pixel 9 Pro XL, I've even added a new card.

So far I've tried to enable the compatibility mode on both curve and play services, I've disabled wifi (since my network blocks a tracking domains), rebooted my phone, and reset the curve app, logged back in etc.
Still, when I go to "Set Curve Pay as default wallet", it fails on the 2nd step "Securing your information".

I have enabled NFC on the phone and set the default wallet to Curve Pay.
