Lock screen lock button

Hey there, lovely and knowladgable people!

I hope someone can help me with this: When I want to unlock my screen, the following appears.

Now my question: Is it possible to get rid of the lock button? The round thing with the lock on it? I don't need it an in most designs it's kind of in the way.

Its the location of the fingerprint sensor, so most people kinda need it for convenience. I wouldn't count on visual updates like that coming with any priority. But you never know.

Ah, thank you. That makes sense. Well, then I'll have to choose different lock screen designs.
