I have recently installed graphene on a secondhand android phone, so this could probably be an android issue but I'm asking here either way. I was told to install google play services/google store on an alternate user profile.
This is way too hard and make me spend way too much time logging into different accounts on my phone. I additionally had my banking app on my google profile (as for security reasons banks don't like aroura/alternative stores, and honestly, fair enough) I want to transition to android 15's private space feature, for my bank, google, and 2fa app (likely ente auth) as this allows me to keep those sensitive apps separate, yet accessible, and maybe work profiles or shelter (or any alternatives in the comments) for more invasive apps.
Problem is off course google.
Google only signs in on my other user profile. I haven't set 2fa up, rather it says passkeys or something. Either way the profile is logged into google any time I open it, but when I access the right email and password on my owner account (in the private space) it says that I need a passkey, and any other method doesn't worm. Noe obviously I can't access a passkey (if passkeys only work on one profile) from my other account.
I tried creating a new account: too many times I used my phone number (I believe Google accounts need phone numbers to work, tell me if I'm wrong.)
Really annoying, I'm not even attached in any way to that Google account just to save time switching (and once I set up an authenticator, to be able to actually use a 2fa on the same profile.) Does anyone have any solutions?
Thanks
