Inconsistent Notifications from other user

I wondering if any of you much brighter people can help me here.

I have a main user containing stuff that doesn't rely on GMS. I have two apps (Proton Mail and Blink Camera) that need GMS to work and want notifications for. So I've sandboxed these into a user called 'GMS Notifications' and allowed the notifications to be sent to my main user.

I've set up a particular notification sound/phone vibrate for these in the main user.

Visually, the notifications from both apps work fine. However, I get a sound/vibration from the Proton Mail app, but no sound/vibration from the Blink Camera app. Seeing that both these notifications are being directed from my 'GMS Notifications' user to my main user, I'd assume they'd work the same. But they don't.

(Whilst in the 'GMS Notifications' user, both apps provide both visual and sound notifications.)

I suspect that somehow GrapheneOS is treating the notifications differently as they arrive in the main user. Has anyone else had this issue? Is there a way to make these consistent?

Update - the phone seems to acknowledge this too

Either it's 'Now <BELL ICON> Notification from <app> for <user>' for Proton Mail or 'Now - Notification from <app> for <user>' for Blink (without bell icon).

Why would the other user notifications treat these differently?

I didn't solve the issue but instead sandboxed the apps I need notifications for into a Private Space that only closes on restart and that's working well for me.
