Hi, I recently got a P8P and loaded graphene on it an have been trying to figure out the best way to set it up. Ultimately my goal would be to degoogle, but it'll take me a while to get there, so in the meantime I'm trying to up my security and privacy as best I can.
My question is about how the system works with google accounts. If I set up an anonymous google account that's used with the play store to download apps that are then pushed to separate user profiles on my phone, and I then log into my personal account on certain google apps in that separate profile, does that defeat the purpose of using an anonymous google account in the owner profile? Will that anonymous account then be linked to my personal account?
Also, if I delete the personal account from my phone at a later date, will there still be some connection on google's end between my device and account? As in, once I log into my personal account, they'll always equate the data coming from my device to the profile they've created about me, even after unlinking the device/account?
I want to finish setting up my phone, but wont be able to get to a public wifi for a while... and realistically, my phone will likely connect to my home network without a vpn at some point (I find my traffic to be regularly blocked when using VPN and often have to turn it off for a while) so does all that defeat the efforts of creating an 'anonymous' google account?
Thanks!
