Try to install GrapheneOS - "Access denied"

I ask for help: I try to install Graphene OS on a Pixel 8a.
I'm using a laptop with Linux Mint 21, newest version and Brave-Browser (Shields disabled).
When I try to "Unlock bootloader" there comes the information "Error: Failed to execute 'open' on 'USBDevice': Access denied."
I restarted the laptop - no other result.
I installed Chromium - no other result.

I would appreciate if somebody has an helpful idea?
