honest camera app without AI hallucinations

I have pixel 10 Pro
it has native 1 and 5 zoom, but the camera app offers me
0.5 1 2 5 10
(I have disabled the 100x zoom madness)

I know every digital camera does some processing, but I don't want 10x zoom hallucinations

is there some honest camera app that gives me minimum AI nonsense ?

I tried the GOS camera app, but it sucks. it has a miniscule zoom slider on the right that i can barely operate, and besides, i don't need 3.25 zoom. I want simple discrete zoom

I used Open Camera (net.sourceforge.opencamera in your favourite app store). I don't know if it will do what you want with regards to zoom levels as I don't have a 10 Pro but it's an app I've liked for years.

Although, just because there's some software processing going on, it doesn't mean there's any "AI" involved.
