Hi all,
Just crossing the t's and dotting the i's before installing Graphene on my pixel 8 and the one app I can't live without or run on my tablet is the Kardia app for my bluetooth ECG monitor. I did a search of the forum and can't find any references to it and I wonder if anyone has tried it and could let me know how they got on. I had wanted to dump google services altogether but if I have to do the sandboxed services thing for this I'll just have to suck it up.

DestinyDonkey I don't have any experience with using Kardia, and I don't have any devices, but I was able to create a new user profile and download the APK from a mirror online, sign up, and everything worked fine - I just don't have a device.
AFAIK, in order for apps to not work on grapheneos, the app devs themselves have to specifically know about grapheneos and essentially purposefully go out of their way to block access for grapheneos users

That's not true. They just have to enable the strictest setting for Play Integrity. That has nothing to do with GrapheneOS in particular and most devs do that not out of spite, but simply because they don't know any better.

Kardia works very well on GrapheneOS. It syncs effortlessly with our 6L kardia ecg reader. We've tried the 2L also and no issues.

I get the app from Google Playstore and do have Goole Play services installed. I have not tried without it.
