Rotate Lock Screen to Landscape? Locked out of phone, need help!

So the glass on my Pixle 7 Pro (running the latest Graphene OS) cracked a few weeks ago. 3 days ago parts of the bottom quarter of the screen stopped responding to touch. The fingerprint no longer worked so I moved to PIN only. Today I've found that the forward button on the PIN keypad no longer responds. If I could rotate the screen in lock mode from Portrait to Landscape, the button may move to a part of the screen that responds to touch.

I can't, however, get it to do this. Is there some kind of trick? Auto-rotate on doesn't work. Nor does turning it off give me a manual rotate button when turning the phone. Thanks for any help

de0u Unfortunately I would need to get into USB security settings to enable that. And I never paired a bluetooth device to work with it either. A new screen is the same price as a refurbished Pixel 7 Pro so at this point I'd just like to get past the lock screen to disable the PIN and use the phone as is until I can't anymore.

It is indeed the case that guarding against touchscreen-sensor failures is a reason for configuring the USB-C port to "Charging-only when locked, except before first unlock", and it is indeed the case that such a configuration must be chosen before the touchscreen sensor fails.

I suspect the options at this point are:

Have the screen repaired, which will likely provide access to the data on the device, or
Forget about the device and the data on it and move on.

You can get a cheap Chinese knock-off screen for 28 USD (TFT) oir 50 USD (AMOLED) on Aliexpress, it will not have the colour saturation and brightness of the original screen but it will work for getting access to your data and being able to use the phone again, and a refurbished Pixel 7 Pro will definitively cost more than 28 bucks :-)

Screen replacement on a Pixel is quite easy, the only fiddly part is ungluing the original fingerprint reader from the cracked screen and gluing it to the new screen - the cheap screens come without the fingerprint reader, but at least that means that you don't have to recalibrate the new fingerprint reader, which doesn't alwas work.
